Letter to Parents
The Zeta Chapter of Kappa Delta at the University of Alabama has nurtured and cultivated responsible, involved members for more than 110 years. We are happy that our chapter continues to foster friendship, leadership, personal development and an altruistic spirit among our members.
If you are the parent of a current member, thank you for giving your daughter the opportunity to be involved in our community. We are grateful every day for her presence! Our chapter would not be the same without the contributions from each and every member.
In appreciation for your support,
The Members of Zeta Chapter
Letter from our President
My name is Mary Frances Robertson and I have the honor to serve as President for the Kappa Delta Zeta Chapter. A chapter rooted in tradition, it has been more than a dream come true getting to cheer on all of our members through their different leadership and scholastic endeavors. Freshman year, I remember seeing how the seniors still hung out with all of the freshman and beyond. Now, entering my senior year, I am more than excited to continue this tradition of kindness and love throughout our chapter by constantly caring for the other grades.
When I think of our chapter, I don’t think of the organizations everyone is apart of or our overall GPA, I think of the 425 women that makeup this chapter. I think of the women that came before us and continue to mentor and guide us. As a leader in KD, we want to do the same for each of the members that walks through this door. Throughout my four years in KD, I have been pushed and challenged to be the best version of myself. Now, with graduation on the horizon, I will look back and be forever grateful for those who took the time to pour into me!
This August, we will welcome 100+ New Members that we are more than eager to encourage, love, pour into, and watch grow to be the people that they once looked up to. I am so beyond grateful for KD & MTRCKD!
Love in AOT,
Mary Frances Robertson
Kappa Delta President
